TOPIC: INDIA'S HEALTHCARE SYSTEM and how we can adapt some systems for Singapore

Introduction

India is a vast country with a billion peple. The Indian Government Free Basic Healthcare Policy allows its citizens to enjoy free basic healthcare in all Government Hospitals located in all major cities irregardless of your social standing. This is to say that both medication, consultation and even certain operations ar free. However the Government might not have the resources to meet the demands in the long run (the lack of doctors, nurses, hospitals and etc). The quality of service is also a concern.

Hospitals can also sadly only be found in major cities wich means many Indians will NEVER see a hospital in their lifetime as many are Villagers and live in far away villages. Hospitals are located to far for Villagers to seek treatment. This means that THERE IS NO PROPER HEALTHCARE SYSTEM FOR THE VILLAGERS. Many then do not benifit from the Free Basic Healthcare Policy in place for them.They then turn to traditional medicines as their last resort. The quality of service in this Government hospitals is another cause for concern. Simply because there are too many patients for Doctors to handle.

However in the private sector, we see awhole new light. It is flourishing and doing extremely well with highly-skilled doctors who see foreign patients despite the hefty price tag compared to government hospitals.

India is an up and coming force that is set to take the world by storm.The breath of new air in India is expected soon with the political change the country is going through. Time will tell how the Healthcare System takes a turn for the better. ONLY TIME CAN TELL

Proposal for Healthcare adopted from India.

Proposal for New Healthcare Systems in Singapore.

Main Idea.

We propse that all citizens in Singapore be given free basic healthcare. This would mean that all citizens would be given free medical treatment and free medication in all government hospitals. We also propose that certain operations(day operations) can also be FREE.
